For immediate release:
“New
St. Louis IP law firm gives entrepreneurs a fresh option in tough economic times.”
St. Louis based
attorney Dennis Donahue announces the opening of his new intellectual property law firm, Dennis Donahue & Associates (DD&A).
Donahue will be leaving his position as a partner and former IP department co-chair with Husch, Blackwell, Sanders.
After more than a decade of large firm practice, Donahue says the formation of DD&A will allow him to work
more closely with smaller inventors and entrepreneurs who may not otherwise have a cost effective way to protect their ideas
and grow in a tough economy. Donahue believes it’s also time for a more personal, back to basics approach for
larger businesses who need their brands and technology to stay protected and competitive, despite shrinking corporate legal
budgets.
“Relationships are everything in my practice,” says Donahue. “I can relate to
my clients struggling to keep business going while the economy is screeching to a halt. They need an attorney who will
truly get to know them and be as passionate about moving their business forward as they are. These entrepreneurs are
the ones with the innovations needed to get this economy rolling again. And I believe I can help them do that without
breaking the bank.”
Of Donahue’s departure from Husch, IP Chair Sam Digirolamo says, “We share
Dennis' excitement for his new intellectual property practice. Dennis entered Husch & Eppenberger on a handshake
extended by Joe Conran, and Dennis is similarly departing Husch Blackwell Sanders with our well wishes.”
Further
practice details, history, and contact information can be found at www.dennisdonahue.com. Dennis is also available for
profile interviews on the subjects of people reinventing their careers through starting a small business, as well as the growing
number of executive level and white collar workers networking locally and online in the face of job losses the St. Louis economy.
